You can help street children in Kenya by donating to Emmanuel Center!
Emmanuel Center uses your donation to get kids off the street and into school. We appreciate donations of all sizes and types, but here is some information to help you decide how much to donate:
$550 or $46 a month = one year in primary school for a former street kid
$750 or $63 a month = one year in secondary school for a former street kid
$600 or $50 a month = one year in vocational training for a former street kid
These figures include the cost of school fees, school supplies, nutritious food, and health care!
Donations from North America are facilitated through the Rotary Club of Squamish Foundation, a registered charity that is run by volunteers. There are no administration fees. Donations are received by the Rotary Club either by check (made out to the Rotary Club of Squmaish Foundation with 'for ebrc' in the note line) or online via Canada Helps. Canada Helps is an online tool, which allows small charities to process credit card donations, something we could not afford to do on our own. At the begining of every school term, the Squamsih Rotary sends all the donations to Emmanuel Center's bank account in Kenya.
